John J. Dulina, IV Conductor - Pianist

Maestro Dulina has performed and conducted across the United States, Canada, and Italy. Formerly the Music Director at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury, CT. under his direction, the Adult Choir raised thousands of dollars for charity through their concerts and was invited to sing in Rome Italy for a public concert a high Latin Liturgy and in particular for Pope John Paul II.

His talents cover a wide range of music from Gregorian Chant to contemporary compositions. He has conducted and performed major works of the masters including Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Vivaldi, Stainer.

In addition, Mr. Dulina has educated hundreds of people about the history of music, not only the theoretical details, but also how music and art are truly products of the social, political and economic structures in place during a particular period. His own lecture series entitled “Music History and Appreciation” has been delivered numerous times with critical acclaim. He has always had a special interest in teaching and believes that whether one is playing an instrument or learning to appreciate music in its listening form, one begins to realize that music is not only the universal language of humankind, but of the human heart as well. He is the founder and former Director of Music Education at The Renaissance Center - "A Conservatory of Music" in Southbury, CT.

John currently works as a substitute organist in the state, serves as Music Director and Conductor of the Heritage Singers. His other recordings have included QUEST { a project for the Archdiocese of Hartford, John was co-music director, organist and guitarist for the 50 voice choir} and Holiday Silhouette, a joint project with a soprano vocalist.

Currently John resides in Danbury, Connecticut and is employed full time as an officer for Webster Bank.
